Dr. Konz grew up near Cleveland, OH. He knew early on that he wanted a profession that was “hands-on.” As he grew, Dr. Konz realized more and more that dentistry could give him exactly what he wanted out of life — the ability to provide direct patient care and an opportunity to manage a small business.
After completing a bachelor’s degree at Ohio State University, he started dental school at the Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in Buffalo, NY. As he studied, he discovered that pediatric dentistry was his life's calling. He enjoys how interactive it is and how, as a dentist, he could watch kids grow and help them along their oral health journey. Dr. Konz completed a DDS with a concentration in pediatrics and esthetic dentistry. In addition, he finished specialty training at Case Western Reserve University and Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, OH, where he further honed his skills.
Today, Dr. Konz is a board-certified pediatric dentist with a mission to give children the experience they deserve in Ashburn and Brambleton. He’s proud of the practice he has established and hopes to continue to grow throughout the years.
Dr. Sana Yousaf is the eldest of four siblings and grew up in Kansas City. Go Chiefs! She completed her bachelor’s degree in chemistry and her DDS at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She then moved to New York City to complete her general practice dental residency at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and her pediatric residency at Staten Island University Hospital where she served as chief resident. Dr. Yousaf’s passion for children’s dentistry came out of a desire to promote preventative care and to help newer parents and young children develop healthy dental habits.
Dr. Yousaf is a board-certified pediatric dentist and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Outside of the office, Dr. Yousaf can often be found at the local parks and splash pads with her toddler or searching for the newest coffee and dessert spots in the area.
Dr. Dash grew up in Omaha and completed her undergraduate degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) at Creighton University. After dental school, she completed an advanced education program in general dentistry at Howard University followed by a fellowship at Stony Brook University in dental care for the developmentally disabled. Dr. Dash completed her pediatric residency at Staten Island University Hospital and soon after moved to Northern Virginia. She believes good oral health practices are the foundation to a healthy body and lifestyle, and understands the importance of educating the younger population with preventative measures.
Dr. Dash is a board-certified pediatric dentist and has a passion for helping children of all needs. Outside of dentistry, she spends most of her time with her two wonderful children and husband exploring the trails of Northern Virginia. Living in New York for more than five years, she became an avid foodie. She enjoys trying out all types of cuisines and will always take recommendations! Her hobbies, if she has any free time, are cooking, baking, reading and hiking.
At Little Smiles Pediatric Dentistry, our staff believes in teamwork. We genuinely feel it makes all the difference in how our practice runs. In addition, we’re proud to say that every member of our Ashburn team has a passion for helping kids smile. We go the distance to make children feel comfortable. You might hear some pretty corny jokes around our office, but it genuinely helps “break the ice” with kiddos and ease their worries.
